On 03/01/2010, Ho Chi Minh City School for State Officers and Thuan Viet Trading and Construction Co., Ltd held a ceremony to start the construction of the new City school for State officers on Chu Van An Street, Ward 12, Binh Thanh District. On the area of 71.800m², the School is 21.500m², in which, classroom block and library have 65 classrooms; a lecture room with 5.000 seats; a hall with 1.000 seats; a dormitory with 9 floors, inclduing 287 rooms which can serve for about 950 boarding students (in which, 200 places are available for international students); sport center block including a stadium with 500 seats, a swimming pool and many outdoor fields for sport.
